Square Enix has so far to disclose the release date of Final Fantasy 7 Remake; it did a hint for us: Winter 2023.

While no release date for the Final Fantasy 7 Remake has been mentioned, this might mean we’ll be waiting some time before we find to see how this re-imagining ends.

Platforms

Right now, Final Fantasy 7 Remake emerges to be a PlayStation 5 exclusive.

This could be disappointing for fans that played the first part of Remake trilogy on PlayStation 4.

It’s expected the game will also be released on PC. But, considering the first part of the series is not available on Xbox,

I wouldn’t anticipate seeing Rebirth make its way over there.

Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth Trailers

Until now, there is just one trailer for Final Fantasy 7 Remake. This trailer seems like Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth will follow the events of Final Fantasy 7 very closely.

It’s also significance noting this trailer shows off a visible improvement in graphics, proving Square Enix is building good use of the PlayStation 5’s upgraded hardware.

Development

After the trailer was revealed, producer Yoshinori Kitase confirmed this remake will be a trilogy. How it impacted Rebirth Kitase shared this on Twitter:

“Making the middle part of a trilogy has its own challenges, but there are plenty of classic second installments in the world of film that are defined by stunning story twists and deeper explorations of their characters.

Often these second installments become a favorite amongst the fans.

In the same vein, we are aiming to make Final Fantasy 7 Remake an even more gripping and memorable experience than Final Fantasy 7 Remake.”
